The Museum at Peršman is the only museum of its kind in Austria dedicated to the expulsion of Carinthian Slovenes and the partisan resistance. In addition, part of the exhibition is devoted to the massacre that took place at Peršman in 1945. A detailed account of the events reveals the harrowing inhumanity with which an entire family, including newborns and children, was murdered here.
