A walk to Komelj

in memory of the fallen fighters of Domna’s unit and Lipej Kolenik-Stanka

The commemorative walk to Komelj/Kömmel honours the twelve fallen partisans of the Domen Company, who were brutally murdered by SS units on 12 October 1944, and Lipej Kolenik-Stanko, a former resistance fighter and a committed advocate for peace and the democratic renewal of Austria. The route leads to the memorial sites of these events and preserves the memory of the resistance against Nazism.
